TDOT closed State Route 127 (Hillsboro Viola Road) starting Oct. 12 for a $5.13 million project replacing two bridges, with through traffic shut off until summer 2027 and a signed detour via US-41, SR-55, SR-287 and SR-108.
TDOT entered the final phase of the SR-55 widening in Tullahoma, with crews finishing sidewalks, lighting and signals on the eastbound side ahead of paving, and drivers urged to use caution in the work zones.
